How do I clean the AeviceMD Docking Station and Sensor?
a) Visually check the AeviceMD Sensor and the AeviceMD Docking Station for signs of cracking, chipping, and discoloration. If there is any, set the device aside for disposal as per the “Disposal” section below.
b) Ensure that the AeviceMD Docking Station and Sensor are powered off and/or disconnected from the AeviceMD Power Adapter before cleaning.
c) For single-patient use, wipe the AeviceMD Sensor and AeviceMD Docking Station with slightly damp cloth or 70% isopropyl alcohol using materials such as gauze, cloth, or swab.
CAUTION: If the AeviceMD Device is to be shared among other patients, clean the AeviceMD Sensor and AeviceMD Docking Station with 70% isopropyl alcohol using materials such as gauze, cloth, or swab to avoid cross infection.
d) Once cleaned, ensure that the AeviceMD Docking Station is completely dry before reconnecting it to the power supply.
e) Keep the AeviceMD Device away from extremely hot or cold temperatures, or direct exposure to sunlight.
Note: Do not clean the AeviceMD Sensor and AeviceMD Docking Station with cleaning agents, harsh solvents, and chemicals, or submerge the AeviceMD Sensor and AeviceMD Docking Station in liquid as this may cause permanent damage which is not covered under warranty.
How do I clean the AeviceMD Silicone Patch?
a) Clean the AeviceMD Silicone Patch by rinsing with warm running water and completely air-drying before reuse. For personal hygiene purposes, it is best not to reuse the AeviceMD Silicone Patch without properly cleaning it.
b) Cleaned AeviceMD Silicone Patches that are not in use may be stored using the Patch Holder. Ensure that the AeviceMD Silicone Patch is dry before placing it on the Patch Holder with the adhesive side down.
Disposal
How do I dispose of the AeviceMD Device?
Dispose the AeviceMD Device responsibly as it contains electronic components and a lithium battery which must be disposed of separately from ordinary household waste.
Disposal of the packaging and the various parts of the AeviceMD Device should be done according to your local regulations.
