How do I wear the AeviceMD Sensor?
Precaution: Ensure hands are clean and dry before handling the AeviceMD Sensor or the AeviceMD Silicone Patch.
Avoid touching the adhesive when handling the AeviceMD Sensor and AeviceMD Silicone Patch. The steps below should minimize the chances of touching the adhesive. Contact with the adhesive prior to application on the patient may deteriorate the adhesive and compromise its durability.

- Place the AeviceMD Silicone Patch on a flat surface with the adhesive side facing upwards. Remove the plastic film.
- Insert the AeviceMD Sensor into the AeviceMD Silicone Patch. The side with the white disk with the UID number should be facing you.
- Place the AeviceMD Sensor on the upper-right side of the patient’s chest. If the AeviceMD Sensor cannot be worn on the upper-right side of the patient’s chest, it can be worn on the secondary location, at the upper-left side of the chest*.
*Note: The measurement for respiratory rate is less accurate when measured from the secondary position. Check with your healthcare professional if you are unsure about where to place the AeviceMD Sensor.
What part of the body is the AeviceMD Sensor applied to?
The upper-right side of the patient's chest is the recommended location for wearing the AeviceMD Sensor for overnight monitoring.

Is the AeviceMD Sensor waterproof?
The AeviceMD Sensor is water-resistant but not waterproof. It is rated IP22, which is comparable to that of wireless earbuds. It will not cause a safety hazard when exposed to water droplets such as sweat but submerging the AeviceMD Sensor in water will result in immediate damage. Do refer to the user manual for recommended steps on cleaning your AeviceMD Sensor.
How far can I be away from the AeviceMD Docking Station?
AeviceMD Sensor must be used at most 32 feet away from the AeviceMD Docking Station within line of sight.
How long can a Silicone Patch last?
A Silicone Patch can last for up to 7 days.
Is the Silicone Patch skin friendly?
Yes, the Silicone Patches are skin friendly. They have been tested for biocompatibility and are compliant with recognized international standards.
Where can I get additional Silicone Patches?
You may obtain additional Silicone Patches from the pharmacy which you have acquired the AeviceMD Sensor from. Alternatively, you may purchase them online via our website.
