How do I clean the AeviceMD Sensor?
- Wearing a pair of disposable non-latex powder-free nitrile hand gloves, ensure the AeviceMD Device is not in its charging mode and is in its shutdown mode.
- Holding the AeviceMD Sensor in one hand, take a piece of alcohol swab. Wipe the entire surface of the AeviceMD Sensor with the alcohol swab for approximately 1 minute.
- If needed, use another alcohol swab to continue wiping until soiled stain marks are removed.
- If needed, use a disposable soft-bristle medical cleaning brush to remove stain marks found along the groove around the AeviceMD Sensor unit. Wipe through with a piece of alcohol swab.
- Set the cleaned AeviceMD Sensor aside for air-drying for approximately 3 minutes.
Once air-dried, the AeviceMD Sensor is to be repackaged in its original packaging and kept for subsequent dispatch or assigned to the user by the healthcare professional. Should there be any signs of cracks, chips, or discoloration, set the Device aside for disposal per instructions in the “Disposal” section below.
Caution:
- Do not dismantle the components of AeviceMD during the cleaning process.
- Do not clean the AeviceMD Sensor with cleaning agents, harsh solvents, and chemicals, or submerge the AeviceMD Sensor in liquid as this may cause permanent damage to the AeviceMD Sensor.
- The AeviceMD Sensor must be completely dry before it can be placed back on the AeviceMD Docking Station or used again.

How do I dispose of the AeviceMD Device?
Dispose the AeviceMD Device responsibly as it contains electronic components and a lithium battery which must be disposed of separately from ordinary household waste.
Disposal of the packaging and the various parts of the AeviceMD Device should be done according to your local regulations.
